  • TES provides mentoring support to help new providers adjust to the TES professional environment. Whether in the classroom, community, or home setting, the assistance and support from a well-respected mentor can be an invaluable supplement to the guidance offered by your supervisor. Mentors provide weekly support for at least the first three months the new employee joins TES, and this support includes assistance with curriculum or interventions, paperwork, electronic reporting, and other issues that may arise.

    TES encourages qualified employees to become a mentor. As mentors, TES’ fully certified, credentialed, or licensed professionals enhance their own skills while guiding our carefully selected employees to become more effective professionals and stronger members of the TES team. Consideration to be a mentor is based on:

    Employee performance in the classroom, community, or home settings;

    Employee attendance and participation at team meetings; and

    Employee follow-thru on TES policies and guidelines, including timely report writting and quality of work.
