All TES Resource Specialists, Resource Room Teachers, and Intervention Specialists are highly qualified and typically hold a master’s degree in conjunction with related experience. |
Our goal is to work with the general education teacher, as well as the student, to assist in helping the student access the general education curriculum, meet his/her goals and objectives, and succeed in school.
This can be accomplished through either push-in (inclusion) or pull-out (resource room) services, depending on the school model and the student’s individual education plan. Supporting academic progress through creation and implementation of an Individual Education Plan (IEP) is our instructor’s primary objective.
Special Education Instruction also includes the following:
Pre-post testing to establish baseline and progress data |
Establishment of individual service or academic instruction plan |
Progress reporting on service sessions as required |
Individual and/or small group services |
On-going consultation with district, school personnel, and parents |
