Enrichment Program (June – August)

This program is specifically designed to serve those clients with Autism Spectrum disorders and other related developmental disabilities who may exhibit maladaptive behavior or other behaviors that could inhibit successful socializing in traditional programs. The Enrichment Program is led by our BCBA team, with a focus on creating opportunities to teach foundational communication and socialization skills.

Lego Club (June – August)Young boy builds a tower with connecting blocks

Through developmentally appropriate Lego® building activities, children are challenged to work alone, in small groups, and in teams to develop their social interaction skills. Trained behaviorists will lead participants in exploring ways to communicate their feelings and thoughts, making requests and directives, and formulating novel generalized statements. Children won’t even know that this fun camp is actually teaching them life-long skills!

San Diego

Speech and Language Camp

Led by a certified Speech and Language Pathologist, this camp is designed for boys and girls ages 3-6 to help boost their speech and language skills.  Weekly themes will be used to enhance areas such as receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language, vocabulary development, and reading and writing skills.

Social Skills Camp

Our Social Skills Camp is based on the curriculum developed by renowned Speech Pathologist, Michelle Garcia Winner. Treatment focuses on the awareness of verbal and nonverbal interactions within groups and is taught by applying key concepts into role plays. Our groups will be introduced to a Superhero Social Thinking Curriculum were they will learn about different characters that will help them understand social expectations in a fun and engaging way.

Tutoring Camp

Designed for children 6 to 22 years old, this camp aims to help your child reach their academic potential. Our tutoring program focuses on math and language arts, giving individuals an opportunity to enhance their skills in these subjects.

Brick by BrickGroup Of Children Running In Park

This social skills training program designed to challenge children through various interactive activities, and facilitate skill development through the use of role play and Lego® building sessions. This structured skill based instruction collects data while following a detailed lesson plan to ensure the progress of each child. During the two hour session, children will be placed with peers of similar age and ability to encourage social interaction and understanding.

All the Write Moves

This multi-sensory handwriting program has been designed for children to develop and maintain proper handwriting skills.  With the use of developmentally appropriate games, music, crafts, and multi-sensory writing activities, our handwriting groups engage and entertaining each child, while helping them reach their individual goals.  Our program utilizes the award winning Handwriting Without Tears® curriculum and  are led by licensed Occupational Therapists.  Children are provided a pre-and post-assessment to measure progress, all handwriting materials are included.

SummerFun

SummerFun is a therapeutic summer program run by Speech and Occupational Therapists, as well as trained volunteers.  Planned events and activities such as music, crafts, water play, pet day, and walking field trips are used to facilitate social interaction, gross and fine motor skills, and encourage play in a fun, safe, and sensory-rich environment.

The Girl Power Day Camp is designed to empower girls ages 10-18 through a variety of targeted teaching strategies. Using activities such as self-care, daily living skills, crafts, and field trips, this camp helps facilitate skill development while encouraging girls to develop self-confidence and social skills.

Sensorial and Therapeutic Art Camppreschoolers

Our Sensorial and Therapeutic Art Camp exposes children to multiple art modalities and allow them to express their personal artistic abilities. Children will be encouraged to get messy and reach beyond their sensorial boundaries through guided tactile activities.

Michigan

Feeding Summer Clinic

Our Feeding Summer Clinic is designed to help children who may need to establish meal time routines, increase range of food and participation during meal times, and decrease anxiety and defensiveness to new foods. The program will be led by a registered Occupational Therapists. Children must complete a feeding/oral motor evaluation prior to registering for the group.

Ohio

Total Therapy Camp

This camp is for children ages 6-12 with ADHD, Autism, and learning and cognitive disabilities, as well as siblings of children with disabilities. Each week, campers will participate in exploratory activities that inspire their creativity and encourage play. Occupational and Speech and Language Therapy services will also be made available to qualifying participants throughout the duration of the camp.

Guy Group

Designed for young men ages 12-18, this camp uses a wide range of teaching strategies to facilitate skill development, encourage self-confidence, and build character and social skills among group members. Guy Group empowers young men through the use of art therapy, group lessons, community outings, and guest speakers.

Girl Power
